Not an annoyed, eye-rolling, "You interrupted me" sigh.
A deep, pained, heavier-than-the-world sigh…
Teens trafficking teens is a practice not so black & white as the picture above would seem.
Victims have been created — youth, family & friends.
Perpetrators were made (is 'made' the right word?) — youth.
Justice has been meted out — too long? too soft? too… what?
May loving & merciful communities surround both the families of the victims and the perpetrators. For if we desire to see true justice served, these young perpetrators will need to have a radical transformations of life instead of being left alone to do time.
This is love in the in-between.
